The European Union is considering implementing countrywide vaping product guidelines to curb illegal imports and increase the safety of vaping products across the region. If passed, the new regulations would require manufacturers to label nicotine levels more clearly and meet stricter quality control standards.

Vape tax proposals are also becoming more common globally. In the U.K., a proposal to tax vaping products as part of a broader “sin tax” is gaining momentum as the government looks for new revenue streams, while in France, the government is evaluating tax incentives for companies that invest in sustainable, eco-friendly vaping technologies.
